Questions & Answers
Q. I was wondering if you see male clients, or do you only cater to women?
A. Good question! For male clients, I do a lot of the background work, but for the actual video meetings I use a talented and knowledgeable young man who will conduct the interviews.
Q. I’m a vegetarian. Would we be able to work together if my views on eating are different than yours?
A. That’s an important question. Although I do believe including some animal products would optimize your health, there are many components to ideal health. I can still work with you within your framework to help support you to the best of my abilities.
Q. What if I have complex medical issues, can you help me?
A. In Nutritional Therapy, we never diagnose or treat or claim to cure. That being said, our bodies are incredible creations and natural food has wonderful nutrients that can support and aid the body in its innate desire to be healed. So in that capacity I can help you, to guide you to nourishing food your body craves.
As far as medications you may be taking, you will list them when we work together so we can look out for contraindications.
Q. Does herbal consultation with you require a separate fee?
A. I’m happy to share whatever herbal knowledge I have as a family herbalist that can help you in any way during our work together for no additional cost. If your situation seems complex, however, we can discuss adding a clinical or master herbalist session to our meetings, at the cost they charge.
Q. What if I change my mind in the middle and want a refund?
A. You may cancel in the middle if you are unhappy, and I will only keep the funds for the work already done. So for the Three-Month Lifestyle and Nutrition Makeover package, if you’d want to back out at session #4, I’d only charge you for those weeks and sessions we already covered. However, I’m not planning that you should be unhappy with our work together in any way! I’m aiming for every single customer to feel satisfied.
Q. Do you recommend a lot of supplements? I know they can be pricey, and I’m on a budget.
A. In general, I prefer recommending actual food instead of supplements. I also love what herbal tinctures can accomplish. Those are largely inexpensive. The food itself you will start purchasing will naturally be of higher quality and thus a bit more costly, but it is money very well spent. Your body will be so grateful and it will be hard to look back.
Q. What if I’m really bad at technology, will I figure out how to fill out your forms, the food journals, the payments, and the zoom calls?
A. If I can do this, you can, too. Trust me. In any case, I’m here to help. You can email me at any time. But it's all pretty easy to fill out.
Q. What if I do the first option and then decide I want to continue to the Three-Month Lifestyle and Nutrition Makeover, do I have to start over?
A. No, you can continue the rest from there and only pay the remaining amount.
Q. Do you do group sessions?
A. They are in the plans. Stay tuned!
Q. What if I have too many questions between sessions?
A. I doubt you’ll have too many questions. I want you to ask! And I want to help you. So during the time you’re in my sessions, all email interactions are covered. I will do my best to answer you within 24 hours.
